MINUTES

TOWN OF VERMONT PLAN COMMISSION MAY 23, 2005

The meeting was called to order by the Commission Chair, Barbara Grenlie, at 7:30 p.m. Marian Swoboda, Commission Secretary, reported the meeting notice had been posted at the Black Earth State Bank, Amcore Bank in Mount Horeb, on the Town Hall front door and on the Town Web Site, www.townofvermont.com: also published in the News Sickle Arrow and the Mount Horeb Mail.

Members present: Barbara Grenlie, Mark Sherven, David Stanfield, Donald McKay, Marian Swoboda, Marc Robertson, and Jim Elleson

MINUTES

Motion was made by Mark Sherven seconded by Marc Robertson and carried to approve the April 25, 2005 commission meeting minutes.

LAND USE PETITION: KARSTEN & JACKIE BERGE, OWNERS

DUSTIN & RACHAEL JOHNSON, APPLICANTS

Motion was made by Don McKay seconded by Marc Robertson and carried to recommend to the Board approval of a home site application, filed by Karsten & Jackie Berge owners and Dustin & Rachael Johnson applicants, located within a 10.54 acre parcel zoned A-2 on Ryan Road in the SE 1/4 SW 1/4 of Section 31 along with the approval of a proposed driveway location off of Ryan Road to the home site.

COMPREHENSIVE PLANNING SURVEY INSTRUMENT

The remaining part of the meeting was spent drafting suggested questions for incorporation into the survey instrument to be sent to Town of Vermont citizens and property owners in conjunction with the town's comprehensive planning efforts.

ADJOURNMENT

Motion was made by Don McKay seconded by David Stanfield and carried that the meeting stand adjourned. The meeting was adjourned at 9:45 p.m.
